I was wondering if there are any logging shows in the northeastern states this summer? In particular, shows that have lots of chainsaw racing...

Thanks!

Try these:

This will give a schedule with contact phone numbers for lots of shows, and a link to the web page for Booneville. Booneville is a big show, but I don't think they have anything but hotsaw and ladies chainsaw. They run the Women's Worlc Championship on Saturday and the Men's competition on Sunday.

It is a real pain in the butt to find the shows now that Axeman's News isn't around any more.

Other New York shows not mentioned are Croghan and Hunt. Hunt is over the the 4th of July weekend, I believe. Other Northern Pa shows are Clinton County fair (2nd weekend in August, just hotsaw) Harford Fair (4th Firday in August, stocksaw<3.5 cu in, stocksaw > 3.5 cu. in stocksaw and hotsaw) and LaPorte, (second Saturday in October, hotsaw and open stocksaw) All of these have hand sawing and chopping too.

Thanks for all the replies. Hopefully I can make it to some of these shows for spectatin' this year and then racing some stock saws next year!
