As a way to thank our members for making this community what it is, we are offering a point reward system. Various rewards will be given to members reaching certain points goals. Rewards will include apparel, savings/coupons, and other goods.

Administrators will monitor accrued points and initiate rewards when applicable.

As far as all of the rep and post count crap, I wish we could not show it as an option, because it is pretty silly.

As far as getting anything for bringing a lot of folks here to the site, that ask a bunch of questions in my e-bay store, nothing for that......

I would at least expect an "Arboristsite" hat in the mail one day.....................

Heck, when I had my lil ol' redneck mower shop open in Lawrenceburg, I gave away hats. Give a redneck a hat, he will be happy.......

It hasn't gone unnoticed that some site sponsors pay to advertise, while some pay to advertise and then also generously share their knowledge with members. Content is definitely what brings me to this site!

I've also seen some guys generously donating saws in raffles for charritable causes. My hat's off to all of you (you know who you are) and I certainly do appreciate the hard earned knowledge you share. Plenty of other professionals keep their knowledge under lock and key.

I thought I was doing ok to be hitting my first thousand posts this week, though I know a lot of members have over 3,000. Never have paid much attention to it up until now but just noticed you're coming on 15,000 posts Randy, and Brad how did you ever make time for over 30,000 posts? If anybody hat a hat coming to them I would have thought you guys would be at the head of that queue.

Anyone know who holds the highest post count/highest credits on AS?

If you click on the points total under your avatar, it will show you the top points holders. Looks like "wendell" has 47,423 in first place, followed by "pioneerguy600" at 11,098 then "sawtroll" at 10,837.

Those totals are a bit misleading bc credits can be donated to others.
