Alanarbor, You have a good idea there! A non-compete clause. I will have to see if anyone is iterested in that. It is just to bad I can't find someone who works for a Tree Co. who wants to make a little extra for a few hrs of their time. You would think they would be in line to make a little extra cash doing something they love. No skin off their butt. Thanks for the idea!

Looking back on the practices the first private tree co. I worked with, I'm really surprised I didn't get seriously hurt.At one time, his job interview for climbing on a transmission ROW was, "Take ol' (new guy ) out there to pine tree in front yard, show him taut-line hitch once or twice, see if he can climb the 45 feet to first limb.) Some would leave right there on the spot, some get half-way and get stuck, some all the way to limb and back down with perfect taut-line. The ones that did were hired and were in a tree the next day or two and trimming with small Stihl power saw. Seems almost unbelievable as I'm typing this. There were a lot of accidents out there. :jester:
