I think it is, based on the multitude of sites he seems to be associated with and the fact that on the site he linked to, there were 20 ads or so, yet no functionality for the purpose's related to the tree business.

It is not SPAM!

'Multitude of sites'? You mean Google Ads?

This is a genuine website! A decent directory of all Arborists in the UK. We will populate other pages with information for property owners etc on tree care and management.

You will at the bottom of the site we are asking for Arborists to register before the website gets promoted to the public.

We are associated with Honey Brothers and you will see our banner on their homepage at www.honeybros.com

What more can I do to prove it is ligit and I am not spamming?

Dude, you're just too damn funny

Strewth

Yep, I'm a regular comodian, full of $hit.

I use a refferal website here in the US and it is really cool. Good luck with it. Here you sign up and select all the counties you serve and when a request comes in you get both an e-mail and a text message.

I do get a lot of people just fishing for prices but you never know who is serious and who is not.

If the UK does not already have this kind of thing then you should be able to do well with it.

Best regards,
The squirrel.

It's a commercial business and is against the rules, sorry. Legit or not.

What you can do is try coming in the front door first, i.e. ask the site owner's permission first. Your first post you made it sound like you were somehow involved in the tree business. The truth is you are in the website business.

From what I can see, you are here soliciting without permission. Like I said, if you feel you are legit, email the management and make your case.

If it were me - I'd have become familiar with the forum first, and posted in the business area, not the climbing and tree care area.

That should answer your question partially since you did ask the question.

You do want to learn - right?

Also there's the sneaky low down way to spam.

Have a look at the signatures of peoples posts. :hmm3grin2orange:

Forums are built on people making contributions to it, simply making a post for your own needs does little for anyone. You think you were helping them out or they're helping you out.

Some guy did that, first thing he does is post a link to a rival forum ... then complain about the forum he joined and posted the link at. :angry2: :dizzy: Bugger off I say, add content, build information, play a part etc is what it's about.

I call them sap suckers, just like on a tree, add little and take take take. They become members, post bugger all, sap suck sap suck and sap suck ... :notrolls2:
