After watching the weather, I hope everyone has plenty of wood, groceries and other essentials laid in for the next few days.
The amount of snow they are predicting would cripple my part of the country. Heck 2-3 inches here puts a crunch on everything.

In for the cool pics! Wanna see snow mountains, stuck cars, empty shelves, happy kids sledding on snow days, outside fires with hotdogs!

Stuff like that..

....all we got was a cold wet wind... the smogger still makes it comfy though....

Parts of western Wisconsin got about 2 inches or less with the storm that is forecast to hit the NE. It has been a struggle but I think we will be OK:lol:

8 -24" expected after midnight here, 1-3" an hour, in N.E. NJ.
The worst part of the blizzard will be after 4am. Tues.
This snow is nothing the Ariens Compact 24 can't handle.

Snowing hard here now. We are in the 24" plus band. Plenty of wind now too and it's just beginning. Will post pics tomorrow if I can. We have plenty of wood and food. We are just a bit southeast of Boston.

After this is over and people start posting pics and videos, I'll be checking it out. Here in TN, 6 inches would bring everything to a halt. All we get with this storm is some cold rain or rain mixed with snow that will all melt tomorrow.

Got about 4 or 5 inches so far and still coming down. Already had about that much on the ground. Firewood racks near house are pretty well full and the I cleaned out the driveway tonight with the kubota. I think we'll only see 6 to 8 inches here when its over. The cold is the real problem for me. I live on top of a small mountain and the temperature here is always 5 to 10 degrees colder than 2 miles down the hill. My job for at least the next couple weeks is to feed the stove.

That would be snowmageddon for us. I see you've got an Echo CS4600. So do I. The chainbrake doesn't work, the loop of metal made contact with the clutch drum a long time ago and wore the loop down to nothing. That part is unavailable and I've given up on trying to find it. That was probably a design flaw in this model. I use it with no chainbrake and I'm careful with it. I really like the saw, It's built heavy duty and has good power for its size and easy to start. I like saws that have a lot more metal than plastic in them, they seem to last longer and take abuse better than some of the newer but lighter plastic saws.
