lThanks,ATH, for posting info link. I got a copy of it. You still have a couple of months (end of May) for Safari. Another note worth passing on is research shows partial protection is almost or maybe just as bad as no coverage. Say 80% coverage and 20% unprotected leaves tree mostly or completely vulnerable to attack. Translocation of chemicals in summer is suspect w less rainfall and therefore slower metabolism, IMO. The word from Prof. Joe Boggs is that my town is poss going to be an "interesting experiment" if we go ahead w Safari treatment. The spring is not going happen as it has not entered our county yet (been detected yet anyway). Their recommendation is a fall treatment followed by a spring follow up to ensure complete protection. Sounds redundant but 100% protection is deemed to be the key right now.
