Ok, got it running well today.... Dressed the bar and sharpened the chain.... I cut two 300mm logs, but I think it has an oiling issue? Took the chain cover off, because I could see dark brown oil oozing out, and it looks like it is pooling in the cover, rather than going onto the chain? Is this a Dolmar thing?

Your oil hole in the bar could be plugged and your bar oil was just taking the path of least resistance if it couldn’t get into the bar

Thanks, this has happened to my Stihls before, so wasn't even thinking about how the oil get onto the chain. I have also looked at a few threads here, and YouTube, will start the saw with no bar today and see what oil is coming out where, and give the bar a clean.

I don't see an oil hole on your bar ?
Should be a small hole just below the chain groove near the tensioner hole on the bar .

Sometimes with a good chain that’s cutting fast it will happen. Might have to lift and give a couple revs to clear it out

Make sure the oil hole and groove in the bar are clean. Also look in the oil tank at the suction hose. If it’s got a black hose I’d highly recommend replacing both with the newer updated green hoses. You’ll need two, one from tank to pump and pump to bar plate. The black ones get hard over time and don’t seal well.

Thanks! Cleaning out the oil hole worked.... I started it without a chain, and there was a nice flow of clear oil coming out, so I cleaned up the bar, and put it back together. Did a couple of test cuts, and it is going nicely.

When you say green hoses, without pulling it apart again, I can see this piece behind the metal screen is green, is that what you mean?

Yeah the hose from pump to bar plate. They had problems with the black rubber hoses. You’re good. Is the hose in the oil tank green or black?

I may have developed a problem.... Saw it's little brother for sale around the corner for $50, hardly been used, couldnt resist! Its an upgrade from little 010 for my teenage son.... Can't believe I am getting them so cheap! Better stop now, I think my wife is getting suspicious...
