It will slowly turn over to about half the length of the starter rope, then kind of hang by compression. i compared to my new 290, and 026. Not much difference. The 026 will hang by the rope and not turn over, but I understand the weight factor. I wish I had a compression tester so you could see the numbers. Im trying to be as accurate as possible.

Bowtie , that is called a oiler discharge sleeve , it's number 138 in the illustrated parts list . Could the oil leak be due to a bent bar tail ?

The oil pump was turned all the way open. I screwed it shut some, now it doesnt spew oil like that. I still havent cut any wood with it, i have a new Husky bar on the way I got on ebay, Im waiting to get the new bar on to try it out and set the oiler. Then this saw should be ready for use.
