Autumn Blaze maples

Fall color aside, are Autumn Blaze maples actually much (any?) better than silver maples? 20-some years ago a buddy of mine who ran a greenhouse convinced me to plant a couple, and I'm getting increasingly skeptical. One just received storm damage that no other trees did. One is near my driveway and would take out my cars and camper if it went down completely. Should I just have them taken out?

The only maple that isn’t like all maples is the sugar maple (hard maple). Autumn blaze looks pretty but I wouldn’t want one near any of my valuables.

An autumn blaze maple is just a hybrid cross of a silver maple and a red maple. Pics would be helpful
