as a rule I try to avoid climbing pine trees in the winter due to the freezing of the sap in them. I find that they can snap much easier when they are frozen. Does anyone else avoid them in the winter or am I just being silly by doing this Look forward to hearing from you all.:alien:

you are sure right monkey puzzle. It is much cleaner in the winter to do work on a pine I did a few today and there is not a hint of sap on me. Maybe I am just being over cautious. But I do find that the branches snap alot easier in the winte3r when they are frozen.
