Mine has an Duetz air cooled diesel but I have no idea where I could get engine parts for it, if it went down. Any ideas.
Also considered setting up a spare engine but what engines are an easy swap? I know Bandit puts several different engines on them but will they all mount up to the bell housing.
Has anyone changed to another engine or know where to get Duetz parts at?

Yes, Deutz engines are easy to find parts for. They have dealers for their engines all over the U.S. I have over 25 years experience using Deutz engines. They are excellent, long lasting engines, when properly used and properly cared for. In some applications, I have seen Deutz engines last twice as long, as similar sized Cat. or Detroit diesel engines.
