I need a new bar for my Poulan 2150. I'm fine putting a little cash into it since it's my main limbing saw and it always fires right up. My question is, what is the difference between these two recommended units from Oregon?

There is no practical difference between these kits, unless you intend to use the Guard Mate cover, which protects against against the occurrence of kickback by preventing the chain near the nose of the guide bar from coming into contact with any object.
#105700 includes a 160DGEA041 guide bar that guarantees the possibility of mounting such a cover.
#27857 includes a 160SDEA041 bar, which may not have an additional hole to allow mounting of said guard.

Hey, thanks so much epo. Just saw my spelling error in the title. I don't see a way to edit that. Smh. Anyway, thank you so much for the explanation.
