i just use the motor oil that comes outta my car when i change the oil . it works plus you dont have to pay almost 3 bucks for a quart of bar+ chain oil

Pathetic.... try working on a saw when someone has been using old engine oil (nothing pisses me off more, so I work slowly...).. and.. your pump will quickly wear out.

Oh, it's also toxic waste..

No, but I didn't have to use the questionable oil in my car, or take it to the collection site. I got some use out of stuff I had sitting around. Solved two problems at the same time...not often that happens.

I never figured out why it was the "racer's edge", all that crap gumming the works up. However STP can't be beat for worn out engines and as an assembly lube. Mix 50/50 with motor oil and you have the perfect lube for installing sleeves in an old tractor. Been there, done that.
