Hello fellers,
I'm looking for pictures and info on how you solve bar sag. I know some of you have mentioned magnetic devices that hold the bar, but could I see some pictures of these? My 72" bar arrives tomorrow and I want to get a head start on solving some of the issues I will be facing. Thanks.

I came up with this in a hurry. Looked good, was easily adjustable, held tight until I started the saw. Never did get this one to work so I hope it saves you from one failure.

I saw the most simple solution somewhere on here...just tack a 2X4 on the end of the log so the bar is resting on something when you start the cut. I imagine it's sacrificial after a cut or two.

Bobl that is one sweet setup. Maybe someday. For now, the simplicity of twoclones suggestion cannot be beat.
Thanks guys

Lol...it was working yesterday!

I can see how that wouldn't work, but I wouldn't have guessed any different than you. Seems like a solid concept.
