I used to keep hives and have a special place in my heart for HONEY BEES . Anything else gets the gas or whatever else it is I have to do to get the job done. The worst thing here is the yellow jacket they live in the ground at the base of the tree you don't even know they are there until it is to late. not big but have a powerful sting.​
 
Had a redoak last summer,talking to guy on phone giving a price and . I sat WAIT whats that.He says what,not really.but say I think you have a bee hive in your tree,sure enough you do.long short.call bee keeper he comes and and say if we can bring the chunk down with the hive on it he will take them.I say Ok how can we do that without getting stung.He says you cant but you only get stung once, Ok how many bee,s in that hive.50,0000 to 100,000.great only get stung once.
Ended up leaving that tree.
