Never loan stuff to anybody, my brother borrowed my gas pole saw and fell off the roof of his camper making the last cut, it was last cut because he didn't do any more after that, said something about the emergency room

pole saw came back to me with slight turn to the left in upper section, if I lay tube section on floor there is about 1/2 inch hump in middle, shaft does not hit inside of the tube

is the saw still usable as is or do I need to replace the upper tube??

just support each end, rotate til curved hump is up and apply pressure w/ hand til stright. most of those tubes are aluminum and bend pretty easy.

sure doesn't feel like regular aluminum

I supported ends on chunks of firewood and leaned real hard on the middle with hump up, didn't budge

next try is same setup with 2x4 wedged under pickup bumper for more leverage and better control

Loan out anything, except anything motorized.. I figure if the person could not afford to buy themselves one.. They darn sure won't be able to replace mine..
I should not say afford.. Many can afford ,they choose to be tightwads..
