Are you planning to do a lot of limbing? I broke the handle bar on my limbing saw today and slung the 441 most of the afternoon. A little heavy, but sure chews through the little stuff extremely fast and pretty decent on fuel.

Actually, I can appreciate you wanting a limbing/small saw. What's keeping you from trying the Husky 346?

PS5100, 4hp, excellent anti-vibe, smooth as silk, outboard sprocket, side cover chain adjust, good oiler, durable so far. A compression release would be nice.

hi Pa Plumber i m starting a clearing business.Id just like a smaller saw to limb and cut smaller stuff with.I have seriously thought of the 346. Also the Dolmar 5100 and Husky 353.Just not sure I can get the 346 for under 400.00

I can really feel the compression on the 026 a lot more than the 441. I often forget to push the decomp button just because I don't notice the compression with the heavier saw.

Why on a saw that small?

Gary

trust me Gary, it would be a nice thing to have the decomp on the 5100S.
that thing you have to try to jerk the rope out of the saw to start it, anything less just hurts. why? not sure. compression? adv timing? take your pick, but it is needed imo.

5100, for all of the reason McC said, plus the pre air filtration is excellent.
