Best Budget Axe for Splitting??????

Try Fiskars splitting axe.
I used to spit juniper witha 12 lbs maul, now all I use the 12 Ibs maul is for pounding out stubburn tire rod ends, and u-joints.

Fiskars is great, I recently bought a x27, longer handle more torque.

Even my Grandma asked me what kind of axe is that (Fiskars) she said it was lite, yet spits so easy!

I quartered all my big rounds with the splitter and have been going back thru them with the Fiskars x27 I just got two weeks ago. So impressed with that sucker that I ordered another yesterday (while the price is good) and a x17 to carry in the bag with my wedges.
