I am a homeowner with recent ice storms I have a bunch of trees in need of trimming.. What would be the best chain saw for under $150..Ive seen some stihls advestised int hat range along with some echos..

Bar size is not to important to me as they are mostly limbs.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

for that price used saws are probably a better investment than new saws in that price range.

if it is just for limbs and you want a saw for under 150 then you cant lose with the silky sugoi. i have one. i dont use it on the ground but for the money you want to spend you cant beat it.

A good jameson pole saw with a couple sharp heads might be a better choice for the money. I wouldnt use more than three extensions but with a sharp blade you can cut through a three inch branch in no time.

Like stated before an electric might be good for you as well. As long as the chain is sharp you should be able to use it for a few years.
