I use a Stihl 260 Pro with an 18" bar for limbing on hard dead oaks at nearby ranches; gets the job done. Not much difference in the 16" and 18" bar, except saves a little bit on bending over on the downed ones.

Good Post. Do a muffler mod and I'm guessing you will like it, a lot. I like the 18" bar on my 026. I'm hoping to try an 8T sprocket soon. It will probably give me a new appreciation for the "little" saw. Also, I have a small 34cc Echo, with a 16" bar, for my "dozer" saw. Rides with me for that stray tree/limb/vine/bush, etc. That little saw is very nice for limbing backup and trail clearing.

Now that I'm on it, there really is something to that 3 saw plan. I'm guessing there is something to the 4 saw plan... 5 saw plan... etc...:help:

I am very happy with the saws I am currently running. I'm not sure I could ever justify another saw. That being said, is the 660 with a 32" bar really all it's cracked up to be??

Ok .....How many steps do I get??????

.:D :D

100 backwards..

You're what's called an "enabler".... Anyone trying to quit the habit must immediately stop giving Ultra rep (give it to me instead):hmm3grin2orange:
