Looking for a good cordless chainsaw that is compatible with the Oregon powersharp system. Been looking at the Echo cordless at home depot but I don't think that model will work with the powersharp system.

What Oregon bar code does that Echo use? What mount codes does the power sharp come in?

Seems the battery saws usually run 90 class Oregon chain. The power sharp is an 91 class chain. The drive sprocket is the same. Generally one would get the "system" which the stone attaches temporarily to their dedicated bar.

As for what battery saw is best,. I would pick one that is direct drive as opposed to reduction gear. If I recall correctly says not recommened for electric, nor sure why. Oregon seems to offer a plug in electric with a version of the system with a lever to sharpen, puzzling.

Thanks for the response Franny.

I am leaning towards the CS300 with the built in sharpener. Its a bit more than I was hoping to spend but having the right tools makes everything easier.
