who is the best online provider of Stihl saw / trimmer parts?

considering:
price, service, shipping, reliability

Similarly - When I buy computer parts I use newegg.com. They get an A in each of the above...Id like to have a parts supplier that also gets an A in all of the above.

CGBailey etc sell used or NOS parts. They are not stihl dealers... and can sell whatever they like.

The coleman guy - if he's a Stihl dealer now, he won't be for long...

Stihl dealers can only sell "over the counter", and not to other resellers.

I see on his web site he says:

note about Stihl purchases over the Internet
Thank you for visiting our web site to view our incredible line of Stihl products. We are happy to help you with your previously purchased Stihl equipment by selling and shipping genuine Stihl Parts anywhere in the country. However, for new equipment (saws, trimmers, etc..) we only sell in areas where we can provide in shop warranty & service. If you live anywhere near the greater Kansas City area please give us a call at (913)422-3040.

But he's wrong.. he cannot sell parts...

Yep that guy with the ebay store is a site sponsor. And it looks like you can only buy bars and chains from the coleman guy. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to find crankcases and pistons online. Baileys(the online site) sells stuff that fits stihl saws but none are actual OEM parts for the stihl saws(correct me if wrong). Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong. Evan

Why don't you go to your local dealer? I show several in "dfghdfghdf".... :buttkick:

Stihl dealers can't even sell bars and chains...

I figured that since I've seen it posted a few times about online stihl sales don't exist. Just pointing out that's all he had online. Evan

What Evan has been saying, again, and again, and again.....................

is this the same guy that asked questions last week also from dfghdfghdf????

Scott

Ya bests come clean. If you really didn't know Stihl doesn't deal online thats cool. Your profile and location is making folks think your pulling a number here because most everyone knows Stihl doesn't deal online. If your new to saws thats cool but say so. Fix that profile of yours too while ya at it and join in the fun on the site. Alot of good folks on here but they all like some idea who they are talking with. So getter done and join in...

You must be thinking of someone else. If you check his profile he only has the 2 posts in this thread and two posts in a thread about 036 problems. Evan
