Seems almost too good to be true.

Stumbled upon it almost by accident, never bought here before so I don't know about the service or anything.

thats not a saw shop and i got a feelin
somebody typed in the wrong saw and nobody knows enough, to realize whats happened. in fact in this state they would have to sell it for that. i think

Tony hit the nail on the head, the 3000 goes for $200 at Home Depot in my area. Good Luck!!!

Yeah you are probably right about the mix up with the 300/3000 I was going to try it and see what happened but I got a 340 last night really cheap ($40), but it has no chain-brake (orange lever is busted off). I might call that boat place just to see if that is the right price for the right saw.
Anybody got a parts 340 with a chainbrake lever they want to sell? I bet the 300 has the same one also. Thanks - JB

JB, I can tell you the chainbrake assy was $66 at the dealer.

And yes, the cs-300,cs-3000,cs-340, and cs-3400 case parts and most engine parts are all interchangeable.
