Hello, everyone, I'm looking for help with my Husqvarna 353. I'm quite the amateur with chainsaws and I've really enjoyed using this saw. I blew a piston on it recently. The exhaust side of the Piston is severely scored. Online, and other places, it's saying that the most common reason for this is an air leak. I'm seeing on YouTube that the process for addressing an air leak is fairly challenging.
I have a new cylinder and piston. My question is, do I need to do an air leak / vacuum test if I'm replacing the piston and cylinder? Is there a chance this could happen again?
