Me either...
Mine, however, is currently in the shop.
Told me if anybody wants to buy a 441 to tell him. but he's not going to give it away.

My guess is nothing broke, He just wants to be the first to get the jabs in.
Ok now settle down and I'll tell you the story I got.
Now this is not made up and this is also not my saw.
I ran into my friend today at the general Store and he asked me if I could get more power out of his 441.
He said that he likes the Anti vibe system, But the power band just drops out of it.
He's been cutting veneer oak all week, And he doesn't think it is now near as good as the 440. Especially plunge cutting.
"Now he has both saws so I would think that would qualify him to say so".
Today he was felling with it as he was doing a plunge cut and the saw grabbed hard and chain fell off. when he went to put it on again he noticed the adjuster was broken.
I said "you must not have had the bar nuts tight enough.".
He said "nope they were tight".
I don't know if this is a warrienty issue, Tha dealer is checking it out.

What does plunge cutting have to do with anything? Does he know how to tune a saw's carb? An improperly tuned carb will ruin your power band.
(Not calling you out Manual, or calling BS, just asking because I don't know. )
Well hell thats a minor issue, bar shoved back and snapped the plug off the adjuster, no biggie, 6.00 part. As for not as good as a 440 he may well be right if he's doing alot of plunge sawing. The 440 is alot stiffer but the vibes are alot more as well. The suspension on the 441 is softer and 50% smoother so he may be right. Power wise hmmmmmmmmm that I doult seriously but its his saw, he may feel that way.
He has been a logger al his life and tunes his own saws.
That was my thought being a new saw and all, I'm going to wait and see how he likes it after the dealer gives it back to him.
As far a plunge cutting goes, going through oak like that would sure put it through its power band.
Well Manual if he's a big fan of plunge sawing, which I avoid best I can, chances are he's not going to like the soft suspension of the 441 compared to the stiff suspension of the 440. Power wise though if his new 441 is running properly the 440 isn't going to out power it, tant gonna happen...
