ive got a ash tree to take down next to a main road ,its got a lot of rot in the but ,it goes about half way through,would youclimb or use amewp,there alot of dead in the top as well

what kind of rot? i have had good results preserving ash, agree with post above, we need pics. Is the entire Tree dead? if not... ash have a good reversal rate IMO
Once removed an entire crown and all parts only leaving one little branch upon tall trunk. The said tree now is vigorous in growth and ful of live parts. I climbed the Tree to remove all deadwood. Did not use spurs, figured if the trunk could hold up all that deadwood, for sure it would hold me up once I removed at minimum equal to my bodyweight. Send pics will watch for an update:meeting:
