To echo what others have said, the Ness work saddle is really a great harness. You can get it with several options...large d's, a variety of gear attachment points (IMO avoid the brass boat snaps, they capture limbs easily), gear carrier bags. The central lifeline tie-in point is long enough to give you some freedom of movement, but I reckon not as much as you are gonna have with a sliding d (never used one myself). Mine has held up well, is very light, and is the most comfortable harness I have ever used. Priced very attractively, too, and in my experience New Tribe is an easy company to work with.
