Big ironwood

That tree has some serious character.

Ironwood just doesn't get that big around me.At least I've never seen any as big as some depicted in these few pictures.The biggest I've seen here is 8" give to take a little.

My daughter went to Lindsay for Forestry, she showed pics to some of the Instructors after they told her it couldn't be a Ironwood that big and grow here. I don't own the bush, there are more in the bush but they are logging it soon, I hope they don't cut it down. The deer spend a lot of time in the area, not sure what they are doing there but lots of marks.
