A tiny matchstick compared to most here but she was 3'3" and as you can see, rotten as hell

Yep, both my daughters shoot and fish,i end up holding the spot light these days and they shoot,but its all good they do the rabbit skinning and roo delegging.

don't forget the back straps they make great schnitzels best part of the roo :msp_thumbsup:
 
But it was prolly the largest tree to be removed residentially in Western Wa in 13 years. 10.5 feet at ground level, just under 8' dbh, 158 feet tall, about 13,000 bd feet, including bark, and close to 70 yards of chips. Two log truck loads, and two days plus--90 ton crane for the wood.

No pictures but it was a dead 52" diameter Oak located two feet from a structure. Tree fell where I wanted it to, but a window was damaged when a 12" diameter branch came off on impact and bounce up and broke the second floor window from 25ft away.That had a WOW factor from the crowd that gathered to watch. The property owner was so happy that he didn't even charge me for the window repair. He thought the tree was going to end up into his hotel for sure.

My biggest was a 75' chinese elm with about 40" at the base. Had to take it down with a boom lift and the drop the last 30'

Here are some of the rounds taken....note the proud farm boss!

My truck was squattin like a datsun pickup at home depot with a load of drywall.

That wood was hard as a rock...almost seemed close to petrified! All the limbs were soggy with water too.
 
Well I messed that up. Not good at uploading pics. It was a before and after. Sorry no cutting pics. It's Sunday and wanted out of there.
