Know of any deals on saws or splitters? Post em up.

Im on the lookout for a splitter but some preliminary scanning isnt pulling much info.

I've gotten some very good Black Friday deals and I've not really had to deal with a whole lot of lunacy. Just have to plan a little and avoid the craziest places. Kohls, Best Buy and the MALL. Other than that, it's not too bad.

Walmart!!! Dont forget that nuthouse

I am guilty of going to tractor supply and buying a splitter on black Friday. Also been to Northern. Neither too bad at 10 am. I would never wait outside or do the walmart or menards thing early. I will be in the deerstand at dawn on black Friday where I should be.

I screwed up last year, should have bought a DHT Splitter from 'nards....

My wife goes every year to sales, wake up at 2am and drive to the "city" with sisters n friends. She has picked lots of stuff from Scheels for icefishin on magic Friday.

Little Husky tool pouches I use for work are usually on sale for $10 too at the Home Depot....wear one out a year.....I pull the girly purse strap off tho

As stated above, good day to be in a tree for me.....if not working.

Which splitter and how much? Likely TS will do a similar deal this year, and i wanna know about it.
2013 -$949 Huskee 22 ton.

Now they have the Countyline brand, but it is the same thing other than a different engine. Good splitter for what I use it for. It is very comparable to the Dirty Hand Tools line.

Menards has a 27 ton splitter for $799 I believe. I didn't look close at the add, I am not sure on the make.

My first time out on Black Friday was last year at Menards. Me and my wife got there 1/2 hour before the doors opened and there was only 50 or so people in line.
We were in and out within a hour and I was at work on time.

Last year we did really well there, got a lot of good deals and a good amount of Christmas shopping finished up in that short time.

By the time we left the place was a zoo though.

This year I'll be spending the morning in my deer stand or at work. It doesnt look like there is anything worthwhile there this year

The Menards splitter is a Forest King. It looks ok, but I passed it up for a the better constructed Speeco/Countyline/Huskee.

I'm very curious about this splitter too. I've been trying to find info on it for that last day. From what I can tell, it has the exact same engine as the Forest King 22 ton splitter. Bigger ram of course, and guessing larger pump. It's a lil stripped down compared to the 22 ton. Like no fenders or lights. Personally I could care less about those 2 items. I'd like for it to be good, but I'm nervous at the same time. I've made up my mind 100% that I'm getting a splitter soon, I just would like to see this particular one in person first. Hoping they will get one on the floor by next Wednesday.
