Walmart people all depend on location. Around here the store is clean, well organized and generally speaking normal folks.[/QUOTE]

If you are in to 250# women wearing dirty pajamas that are 2 sizes to small you need to go to the Mason City IA Walmart on black Friday. All I can say is these chicks must not own a mirror.

I am guilty of going to tractor supply and buying a splitter on black Friday
I did the same for a $699 Champion 23 ton at Rural King a few years back. BUT, I waited until 8 that night, we were out of town and going right past the store on the way home, I thought for sure they'd be long out of them but they still had 5 or 6, so I figured it was meant to be (well, that and my wife said whatever I wanted :D) . They said later on that they didn't end up selling the last of them until the next day!
I'm wondering what you guys think of the Forest King splitter. It looks like it's a replica of the DHT splitter but with the LCT engine. They're badging it as 30 ton, 13 sec cycle time
I was thinking the same thing, that unit looks a lot like a DHT
And the 22 ton that they have looks just like my 23 ton Champion. My Champion has a chinese no name motor but it runs like a champ(ion)
I have had it for 4 yrs now I think, many cords through it and no major problems

luckily (for SVK) those are everywhere...though I believe he prefers the term "big boned"

SVK how does this topic always seem to come up in your threads?:wtf: :hi::sucks::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

You guys are terrible....

Ha. Keep 'em coming.

Topic related. I just could not wait until Black Friday at Menards. I picked up the DHT 22 ton from Lowes a few months back when they went on sale for $999 with hydraulic fluid included. I actually wanted the 22 ton over the 27 ton due to cycle time. I've spit some nasty stuff so far with the 22 ton already. I like it. (Dollars saved vs. time was not worth it to me to wait until next week for a purchase.)

Best of luck to your Black Friday ventures/scores. I've sat them out for nearly a decade now.

Need to don the Moderator hat for a minute. Please go easy on the pictures like that as we have already had to take down a bunch from Chainsaw this week. The WTF pics page in OT is a place were strange pics can be shared.

Here's a site for you:

Some friends of mine run this online auction in the St. Louis area. You bid online then go on a certain day to pick it up. There are a couple saws in a currently running auction, then there will be another auction of my own stuff with a couple junk saws in there.

What's up with that my nards hasn't had a dirtyhand splitter since last Black Friday , some other brand after all sold out

I know most don't trust their quality, but I got the 20 ton predator splitter from harbor freight. They have them on sale for $699 often, I got mine for $650. Close to six cords split with it so far and no complaints.
