I don't know who makes "SmartWools" and who (actually) makes the socks for Carhartt, but on the chance they're not the same, the former would have to be hellacious socks to be better then the <a href="http://www.carhartt.com/products/loaders/finder.cgi?routine=detail&id=321&lite=yes&start=0&type=type&cat=a&lot=">latter</a>.
