Hi all, I'm new here but have been browsing the forums for about a week now and think this is an excellent site. I have been looking to buy a chainsaw and today I did. I got a Husky 340 for $200 (not bad right?).
I got it is for a few reasons but mainly due to my Fathers' health deteriorating and he owns 72 acres of land that we hunt. Often times, we need to clear paths (cut branches) and cut some fallen trees. I also want to use it to occasionally cut some firewood.
I wanted to see what you all thought of the chainsaw I bought. It is my first saw but I've been using my stepdads' OLD McCulloch (don't know the model but it's pretty strong) for a while now so I know about safety and it's importance. I figured that this would be a good intro chainsaw and hopefully I won't have any trouble with what I intend to use it for. Any opinions or comments would be appreciated.
