Hi, new to the forum and was wondering if someone could help. I have a stihl woodcutter helmet and recently broke one of the ear muffs. My dealer doesn't show a replacement. Does anyone know where i could find one? It has to have the slot for the face shield. Thank you.

Welcome to A.S.!

Find another STIHL dealer: the replacement muffs are standard parts. You might have to buy both a R and a L for some models.
But your dealer might be trying to get you to buy a new helmet, complete, or does not know how to find the parts by asking their regional distributor.
It is also a good reason to buy STIHL stuff, because parts ARE available, compared to some no-brand products.

Generally, dealers who have stand alone chainsaw, servicing, or outdoor power equipment, shops will be better places to get parts (and service) than businesses who sell chainsaws on the side (e.g. ACE Hardware locations, John Deere dealers, farm stores, etc.). But can always be surprised.

Like restaurants, bars, and other places, sometimes you have to stop in and check them out to find out for yourself, unless you have a good, local recommendation.
