I have an aquaintance with a bunch of old saws, poulan homelite.... just laying around in the shop.

I hear different things about these items. Seems that people want them if they are given away, shipping included.

What's the scoop?

Given away, shipping included?!? That is too much to ask! If a stranger pays to send me a package I think I should call the Bomb Squad. LOL Actually I think that it is easier to sell stuff cheap than it is to give it away.

Depends on the saw. Most Poulans and Homelites made in the last 15 years don't much interest.

I'm looking for a Craftsman copy of a Poulan 25. It can be siezed, but must complete. I'll pay ten bucks plus shipping. I got the saw from a guy I work with who swore it would never run again, I want to prove him wrong.............cheaply! The saw I'm looking for is red and metal not plastic. An actual green Poulan would be ok too but with the red/green color combo there might be trademark issues with "The Red Green show".

I used to have a red/green combo. Poulan/Craftsman. Actually I think that it still might be out in the shed. I have an Orange Western Auto Poulan that runs(well I haven't started it for a year)
