I just bought a by-pass grapple for my pulp loader to replace the non-by-pass bucket, the pin holes are a quarter inch larger on the new one and the plates are a quarter inch further apart. I obviously need a couple bushings made to go in there, but haven't had much experience with that. Anybody here faced this before?

They will need to be strong bushings not no brass bs.

McCann fabrication in new gloucester can probly make you the U-joint link you need, rather than jury rigging the old one. heck the oliver stores might be able to order one.
