Yeah, but do any of them speak english? Need to looup the exchange rate and see if it's even worth starting to ask about shipping!!! Talk about a logistics nightmare!!!!

Just give them a call Andy. You might get lucky. You have got to appreciate all of the AS members from around the world whose native languages are not English. Most of them speak it (or at least type it) better than a lot of us! You may find someone here who can translate for you. I would hate to have to make a claim if something was damaged or lost in shipping.

At least the data cheet says that the new 262xps are "detuned" from 3.5 kW to 3.4 (and 4.7 hp vs 4.8)........

The weight are still 5.8 kg, which I believe is true.......:biggrinbounce2:

They are on Huskys Russian web-site also.

here you go.

* Huskvarna 262XP - an elegant professional saw with the powerful and vigorous motor.
* Modern ergonomics and an excellent parity of capacity and weights allocate this saw with exclusive capacity, high efficiency and simplicity in operation.
* Model XPG has handles with heating.
* Its distinctive features are a fast set of turns the engine and small gyroscopic effort (the saw is easy for turning even at greater turns of the engine).
* Owing to it, and also it

Attention: please verify the information on the goods with the information on an official site of the company of the manufacturer and specify the specification of concrete model with the manager of our company

This translator is one of the better ones. Just copy and paste your text, select from and to languages, and hit the button, or in Russian:

Geez. Been 30 years since I signed out of the AF and last dealt with that language. Just one word in that that I wouldn't have been able to make a good guess at. Now, if I can remember that, how come I forget less important things like my wife's birthday?

About what you interested?
There is long story how good and where produced..etc..

I am interested in the price in US dollars, and if they would ship one to the US:hmm3grin2orange:
Andy

Andy,

Price is $685 (US) or 18,495 Rubles. They mention details of delivery in and around Moscow (click "Условия доставки"), but no mention of shipping to the US other than you can arrange a shipment via some shipping company and they can carry it to them. We tried adding to the cart to see if we could get a shipping computation but you have to be a registered user to ontinue, so we stopped there. Probably going to be at least $100 to get a saw shipped and who knows what US customs may decide to do to add fun to the experience.

Russia

I was in Russia this Sept the exchange rate was 1 U.S dolar buys 27 Ruble but all they want is Euro's! I saw guy's there using a Husky 385 in the park and a old Dolmar.Lot's of Big oak tree's!

There is said that they can ship to all places in Russia...nothing about other countries:bowdown:
685$ price plus shipment tax

Ok, so a little quick math, $685 + $100 for shipping is $785, then for the heck of it, lets say what, another $150? to get it in the states? for a grand total of $935 easy to get one!!!!!

Or for $580 I could have this: http://store.baileys-online.com/cgi-bin/baileys/5343

Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a no brainer!!!! Thanks for the info guys, I do apreciate it!
