Can someone enlighten me as to what the species of tree this is?

I was just on the property of a some people's that have an arboretum, and they are very tree conscientious. It's going to be good if I can give her the name of one of her "darlings."

Other than what you see the thing has multiple stems, is 9 feet tall, and the bark is like a paper bark except is darker than a paper bark.

I haven't seen any oleander in years but I was close. Maybe its a different type of oleander?

That tree I have there looks like a darker colored paper bark to me. I thought I would come across some luck, and find out from someone knowing what it is.

My guess is Melaleuca Nesophila

Dont mess with there nice trees, go get some learning done

It is a melaleuca nesophila. Pink melaleuca.

For a guy that has a cozy office/collar job, you sure find problems that nobody but you was aware of. Too many naps in the cushy office chair or what? Bring some weights to the office. You could use some physical exercise - hint, hint.... besides lifting the liquor bottles from the truck waaaaaay up to the desk.
