Looks like Western Red cedar to me. Thuja plicata

Thanks for the post. What makes you think that, isn't western red...... red heartwood? not saying you are incorrect or is it possible to have different variations within the same species?
The first picture in the thread of the cut for the out branch gave me that impression as that was all I saw and like you thought.... western red. Or is it the foliage that has given that impression??
