Can you help me ID this Husky

Well i blindly bid on and won this old husky. What exactly did i get?

I thought so too, an early one? the recoil cover is different than all ive seen.

They did, the A65 pics I have show it, the L65 ones don't.

I am not an expert on those saws, but it surely is a 65, no doubt about that!

I've not seen one like that one. I thought it might have been one for a L77. Checked the one I'm working on notl like that one.

You never know which parts are original and which are replacements on a saw that old.....

The saw is not a 77, that top cover wouldn't fit on the 77 top end!
