Am I missing something? Seems like there are situations with the AS tool that does not allow a cancellation of a post while editing. Of course I can simply leave the browser.

Another example is when editing a post that has attachments, any way to delete one of the original attachments while editing? I see ways to add, not delete attachments.

Again, it could just be me.

Just like when I just closed this window and was put in a window selling silky saws. Weird.

Look at your post, use the Edit button, go under advanced options, search around, you can delete from a punctuation mark to the entire post, take your pick eh???

I guess I need it big and in crayon.

For example I just went to post I had made that included attached files. I found ways to add attachments (manage attachments graphic) but couldn't understand how to delete one of the attachments already there.

And from within that "editor" I could not see how to cancel the whole editing session cleanly. I guess I need more sleep....

I found the manage attachments stuff below where I was looking. Don't usually have my screen that big and didn't know it was down there. Duhhh

Now, if I can only figure out how to cancel from that sort of editing session I can be moved back into the 8 th grade with the rest of the school kids.

Just click the link at the top again, i.e. Chainsaw, it'll take you back to the main chainsaw page... :pumpkin2:

Thanks. And I can just close the window as well. Was figuring there must be a more elegant way to cancel through the UI.

Not an issue, just wanted to complete the puzzle. THanks again.

just go to the manage attachments box, and click the pic, then click remove

Thanks. I did not make it very clear, but I tried to report in my second post that I had found the error in my ways on removing the attachment. I didn't know there was more screen below what I saw and I finally scrolled down and found that in the UI.

Still think there should be a cancel control somewhere, but perhaps that is eluding me as well.

Sorry for wasting bandwidth by being a bit slow on the uptake....
