Case for Stihl saw.

Here's an old style Stihl case I'm looking to buy. Problem is, I have a 20" bar and I'm not sure it'd fit in this case.

Anyone know?

Looks like it'd be a bit short, just from the pic, but I don't know for sure. I don't use cases, myself, but Stihl also makes the one with the removeable bar scabbard. My budddy has one, and it works well.

I've got an old style like that which came with my 026 - 18" bar. Looks like you might squeeze it in...there is about 2-1/2" from the tip of the bar to the end of the slot. Plan on fabricating a new carrying handle. That was the weak point in the design. I made mine out of a piece of 1-1/2" dowel and some light guage chain bolted into the top.

Thanks, I'm thinking it'll fit or at least be close. It looks to be about the same size as the newer cases and I think they'll fit a 20" bar.
