Hey! That beaver looks like an otter.
Guys that run tree services buy all kinds of saws. That doesn't change the fact a 362 is a turd compared to 400C or a 562XP.I have a cousin who does tree work. Started with Asplundh. Bought a bucket truck. Bought a crane. Makes however much money he feels like. I fix his saws. He has, who knows, a dozen MS362's.
And, you bunch of goof balls likely don't burn a tank a year and babble on the internet.
I do find it entertaining.
I’ve noticed most tree services around my area tend to buy the cheaper 194T for their climbing saws, and the Echo 590s and clamshell Stihl’s like the 271 and 391 are common for ground saws. Hell, I’ve never seen someone besides myself running a 200TI

With your 67cc means 70 logic, should we consider the 362 at 59.9 cc a 50cc saw? It's sold with wrap, regular and heated here
They should be. They are 8cc smaller. The 400 at 67cc is a 70cc class saw. Obviously.
The original 362's could run with any 60cc saw, but not with a pro 70cc saw, obviously. The moronic ones were torque-less. The latest ones, I have no idea.
The 400 is 300 dollars more in canada. That is significant enough, imo to seriously evaluate one's needs.
Alot of tree services guys can barely run a saw. I watched the take down of a big cottonwood at my neighbors this summer and it was painful to watch.I’ve noticed most tree services around my area tend to buy the cheaper 194T for their climbing saws, and the Echo 590s and clamshell Stihl’s like the 271 and 391 are common for ground saws. Based on the various companies I’ve seen and/or worked for, they don’t buy what’s best, they buy what’s cheap because the workers tend up tear up any saw no matter the brand or price.
Shame they don't have you to teach them.Alot of tree services guys can barely run a saw. I watched the take down of a big cottonwood at my neighbors this summer and it was painful to watch.
Shoot it’s scary to watch grown men that have heated with wood for 40 years drop trees sometimes. Not that all of mine are perfect but it’s wild seeing thing people do. I know when I’m in over my head, That’s when I call in my tree buddy that’s been cutting trees since I was a kid.Alot of tree services guys can barely run a saw. I'd say you just proved my point. With your 67cc means 70 logic, should we consider the 362 at 59.9 cc a 50cc saw?
The 400 isn’t a 70cc class saw. The 362 was made obsolete once the 400 came out.
So you consider the 362 a 50cc saw?I'd say you just proved my point.
I love this!!!I have a cousin who does tree work. Started with Asplundh. Bought a bucket truck. Bought a crane. Makes however much money he feels like. I fix his saws. He has, who knows, a dozen MS362's.

It’s ignorant to “think” like that. It’s a 60cc saw…I love this!!!
You sir, are absolutely correct!!
The argument for whether the MS 400 is a "60cc or 70cc" class saw is ridiculous. Using rounding rules, the MS 400 is in the 70cc category of saws, the CS 7310 is also in the 70cc category; It's dishonest to argue otherwise.
It's ignorant to use logic and reasoning? It’s ignorant to “think” like that. It’s a 60cc saw…
