Case Splitter

I welded a nut between the plates on mine and use like a 1/2" or 3/4" piece of threaded rod.

I made one based on the design of @kevin j on this thread. It is adjustable in all dimensions, and easy to make.



Weldable steel stock from Home Depot. The item UPC's are on the cardboard templates above. If you like to make your own tools (and I think this design is the best I've seen) go for it. But with current pricing for case splitters, you won't save much.
