Looking to buy a 6" cast iron pipe flange. I would like one similar to what comes in a barrel stove kit except it needs to be flat. Would like the damper in the flange. Anyone know where I could buy one? Have checked eBay and Amazon to no avail.
Thanks in advance.
Shane

Are you building a stove? Last time I built a stove I found some six inch drill casting at the scrapper and welded that to the stove put the damper in it and the stove pipe slide into it.

Yes am building a wood stove. I'm building it out of stainless steel. I can make one out of stainless but would rather have cast iron for that.

Check Mountain view heath products. Looks like they have one with the damper built into it.
I never use the flange damper because it's to near the heater and I want that heat to heat the pipe which heats my house. I install one in my stove pipe about 24 inches up and the handle don't burn my fingers.
Be blessed.

That's a nice looking heater. Someday,. I want to build something similar. A very tight box lined with something like Fire bricks. I want to build a fire then shut it down to 16% oxygen so it'll smoulder catch the Gasses and burn them too. Wood gives off flameable gasses at 500 degrees. Probably, my project days are about over so that's just a dream. Good day.
