I complained about the grit too fine on my CBN wheel, but I like the results of your wheel even less.

the cbn wheels CUT as opposed to grinding the cutters
the way the striations run on the tooth does not create added friction
/ resistance to cutting at all.In my oppinion, too much force was applied
to the tooth in the first place

It helps produce a smoother grind. I find when I’m in a hurry and just quickly zap the tooth with the wheel it looks rough. If I go slow and hold the wheel In the tooth for a three count, it helps.
I do feel your correct in saying the rough vs smooth grind doesn’t add up to much difference in the cut, but when I grind square, the slower I go, the easier to see the corner it is.

Who makes the fine wheels? I want one in 1/8" for touchups.
In my experience, Diamond Wheels Inc CBN wheels are finer than the Foley-Belsaw ones.
