Chain saw repair tools.

Last week I happen to run into my friendly snap on dealer.I explained to him my small business.Well he told me that the torx tool with handle would cost me over $17.Well I made a hasty exit and ordered the professional chain saw tool kit from baileys.Has anyone ever had and dealings with this this set of tools? I am tired of using Allen wrenches ext for my repairs.I hope to have them this week, Ken.

I bought a complete set of offset Torx wrenches from the Harbor Freight store for $12.99 recently

I've had torx screw drivers and a complete Torx socket set for many yrs to use on chain saws and weed whackers. Couldn't be without them.

Bailey's - Complete Set of Wiha Chain Saw Tools

I really like Wiha and their opposition from Germany, Witte tools a lot.
I have a mixture in both brands in allen and Torx.

Alos have a set of allen, torx and posi drive in 1/4" drive by Teng Tools that are remarkable quality for the price.
Designed in Sweden, made in Taiwan with very good steel.
They were bought to complement my Snap On 1/4 drive set that I've had for the last twenty years.

I bought a six pack of Wiha high voltage screw drivers last week to replace some I've mangled in use. (I tend to wreck the insulation up the shaft, not something you need when playing with live 415V

)
It was cheaper than buying three individually :msp_rolleyes:
I think I've only used Wiha or Witte in electrical screwdrivers for the last fifteen years.

Buy the Baileys set. Great tools. I use the 8 and 10 MM nut driver all the time for automotive work. The set comes the most common sizes for chain saws.
