Question for all---I have a Husky 359 & I'm having a problem with keeping the chain tight. I have tried keeping it a little looser than normal & also went the little too tight route but does not seem to matter...Thanks for any advice...BILL IRVINE

Hi Bill,

Are you saying that your chain won`t stay tight? Alternating tight to loose to tight again can be a sign of a worn sprocket, bent crank, or sticking nose sprocket.

Have you checked the adjuster to be sure that it isn`t damaged.

Maybe I have not explained this enough. I tighten the chain as I always have, or at least i have tightened it like I thought I should have & it seems to come loose right away. I have tried leaving it a little looser than I thought it should be & also a little tighter but it always seems to get loose real quick after about 3 or 4 cuts on a 18-24 inch water oak log. maybe I'm not putting enough torque on the bar retaining nuts?
