They are better for long term storage of fuel, but heavier and less convenient than plastic.Metal cans are better then plastic then

I mix 40:1 and have 93 octane treated with blue Marine Stabil. I even date all of my quart cans at the time I fill them.I have never ever had issues using fuel 1 1/2 years old. Over 10 years now with this system and no fuel issues.Can you use a fuel stabiil in it for it to last longer
