Chainsaw pants

Does anyone have any input on the sizing of the pants? I orderd a pair of the pfanner gladiators in my normal pant size and they seem to be a bit large in the waist and in lenght.

Last fall I purchased a pair of medium pfanners. (Online store said the sizing was 34" for a medium and 31" for a small). I wear 33" or 34" jeans. I found the pfanners to be a little large. Since I needed them immediately I did not want to return them. I had a tailor install an extra snap and an extra hook loop and now they fit comfortably, plus I can wear thermal underwear and tuck in a thick sweater and they'll fit with the original setting. If I find a local dealer that stocks these I'll try on a small, but for now I'm quite happy with these. As for length they are a tad long, but my new climbing boots have quite a tall heel, so the pants are a perfect match for the boots.

They are sized larger both the protective and none protective ones.

OK thanks for the input fellas. No local dealers so it sucks ordering and it not fitting and paying to send them back. Not to mention the price of the pants alone. But, safety is key.

They are likely the most comfortable chainsaw pants in the world.. and for sure the nicest to climb in. But they do come at a price..
